The background took longer than Wally, himself (which was expected from the details of the BG).
Johnathan... I hope you like this. This is easily one of most intense pieces I've done recently.
About the background:
I sketched a street scene and then built a rough model of it in 3D.
I then rendered and took it into Photoshop and painted almost all the details such as lights, lighting fixes and effects, cars, etc.
I added some effects on Flash to place him more into the scene such as zoom blurs and dust kick-up.
