Hello friends,
I wanted to check in and let you all know that working at Sega has been great. The past 5 months were full of fun and creativity. I want to let all of you know that even as a professional artist, there is still so much to learn if you want to progress in this industry. I've been learning so much from my coworkers and art director. They like me and I like them. All is going well.

hey just saw your charater design vid and i was wondering if you could help me make temperance my oc look badass with epic armor, can you link me some pictures that might be insparational
Hey, sorry it took so long for me to reply. Been busy.
I kind of don't have a legit source for making armor. It's pretty much just scouring the internet for things I like and making variations of it.
What I can probably say is, try to make the armor more epic in areas that matter on the character you are creating. For example:
-Swordsman: heavy armor on chest and arms
-brutes usually have big shoulder pads, helmet, forearm bracers, and knee pads. The rest is usually showing off bare muscle.
-try to make their important weapon as epic as the armor.
I hope this helps a bit. I would reference Warcraft, Hearthstone, and League of Legends.

Well, after looking at your character on your page, I see that you're having trouble picking a style for her.
My opinion is that you use use Soul Eater and Sword Art Online reference. She seems like a character that could fit into either of those worlds.
Try to study the way they cell shade and keep your lighting and shadows consistent from the light source.
